Philanthropy Events This Semester

Sale of Shamrocks to Support the Muscular Dystrophy Association (February 21 - February 25)
This entire week, AXP teamed up with TEP to co-sponsor an event where both fraternities sold shamrocks. The paper shamrocks had individuals sign their name and make a donation, with the shamrocks  being placed  on a wall at Clarkson to identify all the contributors.  The proceeds went to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Relay for Life to Support the American Cancer Society (March 25 - March 26)
This is a 24 hour event, 'Relay for Life'.  AXP participates in this event every year. Members of AXP walk around the track for a day to raise money for The American Cancer Society. This year, the IFC is going to do a Greek sponsored blow up moon bounce jumping event. where proceeds will also support the American Cancer Society obviously and Crow will be helping out with this event.

Marin Tournament to Support the American Cancer Society (April 2nd)
This is the annual Marin tournament that AXP participates in each year. This is crow's biggest even and will be held in the IRC from Noon to 6 PM, with prizes going to the top finishers. AXP is asking local businesses to donate money for the cause. AXP will also man  concession stand this a year at the tournament. Proceeds will go to The American Cancer Society. 

Barbeque to Support the Potsdam Food Kitchen (April 9th)
On this day, AXP will be participating in a Barbeque
hosted by a Clarkson organization known as Foodies. AXP will have 2 teams, with three people on a team and it is in essence a cook-off. Proceeds from this will go to the Potsdam Food Kitchen. This should a fun events as it has been in previous years. This year our Team Captains are Bob Lehey and Stan Bach. AXP is allocating money for them to cook whatever they believe will win.
